Snap out of it.

I always used to think that I'd like to stay seventeen forever if I could.

Humm, to tell you the truth, even now...sometimes.....unconciously.

However, not anymore.

I'm going to be an adult.
I'm going to mature.
I'm going to keep on getting stronger.

I have to get stronger for everyone.
Although it's still difficult for me to overcome it, everything will be fixed and is on the mend.

Snap out of it!!!!!!!!
Snap out of it!!!!!!!!!!
Snap out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Olga

She finally came back to Montreal.

I have been sick for these days. I have a bad cough from a cold.
I can't breath well as if my two lungs disappeared.
Why???? Why did I catch a f**king cold and feel like that???

Because I slept as naked as my mother bore me??

No,, Someone I lost before came back to Montreal to make up my half of hole???

It must be....

Hey!!!!! You also have to back here to overcome my cold and bring Summer to Montreal!!!!!!

Anyway, I'm really glad and happy to see her again.

What's your motto?

"Mind if I give you one piece of advice?"

"Sure, go ahead"

"Don't feel sorry for yourself," he said. "Only assholes do that"

It's been 5 years since I met my Bible, Norwegian Wood.
Don't feel sorry for yourself.

Oka beach

I went to Oka Park to get tanned, barbecue, play with hot girls ,and enjoy the rest of my stay with two 26-year-old men who are old goats and six 16-year-old girls.

16 years old????????

I didn't know that before.
Somehow I felt I did something wrong or turned to crime.....haha

Anyway, I had great time thanks to them.
Hum I feel I 'm getting old....... They were so energetic.

What did I do when I was 16...?

Chai-latte with a book

I commute from YMCA to Presse Cafe after school.
I spend 3 hours reading books with hot chai-latte.
Finally, I go back to YMCA to work out in Gym.
This is my new life, routine.

When I took out earphone, I happened to catch the music I had listened just before, "I'm yours" from BGM.
I grinned with a few little nods unconsciously.

my life is average.

Under Pressure '09

I participated in International Graffiti Competition, Under Pressure ,last weekend.
It was beyond description.
I could see many beautiful, cool graffiti in there.
Besides this, various street artist expressed their art everywhere, such breakdancers, skateboarders, and DJs.
Their faces shone with delight as if the birds fly freely in the sky.
I want to be like them..

Why am I here?

During the last few weeks, and days of my stay in Montreal, I would recognize to back the reality.

When I hanged out with my friends last night, I couldn't focus on chatting. I was just drinking beer as if the water flowed into the drain.
My friends must have thought that I was daydreaming about butt......haha

Actually, I needed time to think about unsolved, complicated things.
One of them was to recall why I came here, Montreal.
As the day I will back the reality is getting near, I started thinking about that automatically.

While, I might have wanted to confirm that my decision was wrong or not.

There are three reasons to come here to study English.

One is the leisure of my life. It's not tongue-in-cheek and wisecrack.
I'm serious.
When I was in Japan, my life was in a rush and intense ,but I was really comfortable and satisfied about my environment, like Yamaguchi seminar.
However, I was flooded with just another information, and there was no room to input something in my brain.
so I needed to take a rest or fresh to be droughty and thirsty for something new.

In other words, I escaped from the reality.

Also, I wantedto build up my own sense of value. Of course I didn't intend to go against the flow, also didn't intend to go with the flow.
Indeed, I met many students who study English to get a good job, but I just only wanted totalk to people who have different culture, behavior, and sense of value to build up mine.

Finally, before I came here, I studied hard just one field, accounting. However, we have to keep studying forever even if we graduate from University and all field around accounting connect each other closely, I noticed, so I want to get MBA to expand my horizon and unlimited possibility.

I have just a little less than a month.
I will not only challenge as usual, but also look back my footprint and achievment......

MLIA.

The grass-eating boys of Japan

My ex teacher gave me an interesting article.

It's about "Sousyoku Danshi".According to the article, a pop culture columnist defines it as herbivore: a Japanese man who saves money, shuns sex, has a penchant for nice clothes, and prefers a quieter, less competitive life style.

Besides these, they tend to be close to their mothers[I think it's not necessarily so], prefer platonic relationships with female friends, have fewer career ambitions.
It's true, it is happening in Japan now.
I think it must be a part of new culture and we don't need to hesitate to accept it , although I don't want to be.

The only thing I'm worried about, however, is a lack of competition in the future.

I think some reasons are obvious.
One of interesting reasons is a advancement in the social status of women.
As time goes by, male chauvinism seems to be disappearing.

If young Japanese men are called "herbivore", young Japanese women who bring home the bacon might be called "carnivorous girls or women" hahahaha

The time may come when carnivorous girls or women will feed on herbivore boys or men.

Big Mac S size

Before I caught a movie, I ate Big Mac Combo for the first time in several months.

It was amazing. It was every inch a small size, but in the huge box for Big Mac.
Moreover, they served me not only such as a funny hamburger but also lukewarm Coke and the burnt French fries.
Unfortunately, I rarely eat such as junk food, so I didn't care and enjoyed them. I just had no choice, cuz it was around 11:00 and there was no restaurants around me.

However, the movie I caught after that was so funny and might be the best comedy movie that I have ever watched. You must!!!!

By the way, I finally changed my flight schedule to September 1st.
I wanted to go back to Japan earlier, but there was no seat any more.

Naomi Wolf

Today, I read an autobiography. In the back of the book, there was a small paragraph entitled, "About the Author." I laughed. MLIA

My Life is Average

Today, when I saw a police officer, I mentally checked if I was doing anything illegal.
Of course I wasn't. I smiled at him and he smiled back. MLIA [My life is average]

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet" by shakespare.

Do you understand what it means?
What matters is what something is, not what it is called.

I stick to my principle.

It might be time to back to reality

I decided to shorten my stay in Canada from September to August.
I already bought a round-trip ticket from Montreal to Narita. It's a kind of one year open return international ticket, so it's much easier to change my flight schedule , but I have a problem with additional fee. It cost $100.Hummm. There is room for consideration.

Honestly, I was supposed to stay here till end of LAST September....but I extended my stay again and again. I felt attracted to muticuture city Montreal and I might have had intersted motives..kkkkk
However, now my school is gone and I have nothing to do here. I feel it's meaningless stay any more and corrupt me..........

Hummmm.......It might be time to go back to reality.

Montreal Jazz Fest kicked off with Stevie Wonder

I will never forget his voice and performance of harmonica with umbrella....

Montreal Jazz Festival started with free Stevie Wonder concert 3 days ago.
Of course I attended it because I thought I wouldn't have a chance of seeing his live concert in my life, so I arrived there 2 and half hours before it started. However, it was already crowded and we saved a place as far as I could barely see one of the huge screens.
According to media, about 100,000 people were expected to attend it.

Besides, it started raining until just before he showed up[he might have special power]
Everybody took their umbrellas and opened it, so I couldn't see anything at all!!!!
I thought it was Umbrella Fest, not Jazz Fest.

I also found nice umbrella that is written by French ' MERDE IL PLEUT'
It means that shit, it's raining......French is so beautiful language...kkkkk
If you wanna buy it, click below.

Although I knew only just a few Stevie Wonder's song before, I really like it. Moreover, he played several Michel Jackson's songs to pay tribute and his last respects to Michel. It was amazing.........

BIXI and my bad mood

After we said farewell to Summer, who is my best Korean friend, somehow I felt I wanted to ride a bicycle is called BIXI.

BIXI is a public bicycle sharing system launched in May 2009 in Montreal. The system provides 3000 bicycle and 300 pay stations located Montreal's central core.

It was 4a.m. Downtown was so quiet as if nobody were breathing in there.
Although I really prefer riding a bicycle to driving a car, I hadn't ridden it in Montreal by then.
When we reached to Old Port, sun started rising from the horizon.
It was beautiful beyond description.

However, I can't get over my bad mood.......

Summer, I already miss you too much....

Thursday 25 June 2009

Micheal Jackson is dead?

BBC reported that Pop star Micheal Jackson died of a suspected cardiac arrest.
He was 50 years old......

I can't believe that.

I'd pay my last respectsto him.

Casinoholic?

My Chainese friends called me when I finished my daily routine of doing exercise in YMCA.
They wanted to go Casino and asked me to join them.
My answer was YES, of course!!!! There was no room for thought.

I wounder how much I poured down the drain and deposited in the Bank, is called Casino.
Moreover, I don't remember how many times I relied on the cash dispensers that are set on Casino.
; Still, I go there.......

Am I Casinoholic?

However, there are many casual mettings and new experience.
I will never play pachinko and other slot machines cuz they are boring.

On the other hand, gamblers share extreme tension with dealer and fluctuate between hope and despair at table games, such as Black Jack, Roulette, Dice, and so on.

By the way, I didn't win today, but I also didn't lose any money!!!!!

Someday I want to go Gambling Town, Las Vegas.
So I have to go Casino to study it!!!!!

Tuesday 16 June 2009

Being a nocturnal human

I currently sleep from about 3am to about 10am every day.

I have to try to reset my sleep cycle........

My best Korean friend will leave from Montreal to Cancun in Mexico.

Cancun has pretty beautiful beach, not bitch.

When I saw the pictures of Cancun, I couldn't express how beautiful place and it was beyond description.

I decided to go there, but I have a complicated problem about Visa....

My visa in Canada expires in June , although I am trying to change to visitor visa.

I can't go out of Canada till I get it any more.......

I wanna visit there.....

Sunday 14 June 2009

We won't be able to smoke a mentholated cigarette.

I feel so bored........cuz my school completely finished.

This morning I saw an interesting article,is about the Senate's tobacco bill, from New York Times.

According to it, the House moved to pass the Senate's tabacco bill which give the Food and Drug administration[F.D.A] the power to set product standards and ban some chemicals and flavors in cigarette, but not totally ban addictive nicotine and send it to the White House.

The F.D.A would have the power not only to consider changng existing products, but also to ban new products.

Moreover, within one year, the industry will be banned to produce the obscure cigarettes , like 'light', 'mild', and 'low tar'.

Of course tobacco industry was opposed to this legislation, but it was supported by the Altria Group - the parent company of Philip Morris, which produces the dominant Marlboro.

In my opinion, this legislation is advatageous for the Altria Group which has the exclusive market.

By the way, I wonder if Japanese government follows the United States as usual, what will happene to 'Mild Seven'- representative cigarette brand in Japan.

JT has to change the name to 'Seven'?????

Anyway, Obama's sign is a matter of time, even if he has struggled to quit smoking.
