Chai-latte with a book

I commute from YMCA to Presse Cafe after school.
I spend 3 hours reading books with hot chai-latte.
Finally, I go back to YMCA to work out in Gym.
This is my new life, routine.

When I took out earphone, I happened to catch the music I had listened just before, "I'm yours" from BGM.
I grinned with a few little nods unconsciously.

my life is average.

Under Pressure '09

I participated in International Graffiti Competition, Under Pressure ,last weekend.
It was beyond description.
I could see many beautiful, cool graffiti in there.
Besides this, various street artist expressed their art everywhere, such breakdancers, skateboarders, and DJs.
Their faces shone with delight as if the birds fly freely in the sky.
I want to be like them..

Why am I here?

During the last few weeks, and days of my stay in Montreal, I would recognize to back the reality.

When I hanged out with my friends last night, I couldn't focus on chatting. I was just drinking beer as if the water flowed into the drain.
My friends must have thought that I was daydreaming about butt......haha

Actually, I needed time to think about unsolved, complicated things.
One of them was to recall why I came here, Montreal.
As the day I will back the reality is getting near, I started thinking about that automatically.

While, I might have wanted to confirm that my decision was wrong or not.

There are three reasons to come here to study English.

One is the leisure of my life. It's not tongue-in-cheek and wisecrack.
I'm serious.
When I was in Japan, my life was in a rush and intense ,but I was really comfortable and satisfied about my environment, like Yamaguchi seminar.
However, I was flooded with just another information, and there was no room to input something in my brain.
so I needed to take a rest or fresh to be droughty and thirsty for something new.

In other words, I escaped from the reality.

Also, I wantedto build up my own sense of value. Of course I didn't intend to go against the flow, also didn't intend to go with the flow.
Indeed, I met many students who study English to get a good job, but I just only wanted totalk to people who have different culture, behavior, and sense of value to build up mine.

Finally, before I came here, I studied hard just one field, accounting. However, we have to keep studying forever even if we graduate from University and all field around accounting connect each other closely, I noticed, so I want to get MBA to expand my horizon and unlimited possibility.

I have just a little less than a month.
I will not only challenge as usual, but also look back my footprint and achievment......

MLIA.

The grass-eating boys of Japan

My ex teacher gave me an interesting article.

It's about "Sousyoku Danshi".According to the article, a pop culture columnist defines it as herbivore: a Japanese man who saves money, shuns sex, has a penchant for nice clothes, and prefers a quieter, less competitive life style.

Besides these, they tend to be close to their mothers[I think it's not necessarily so], prefer platonic relationships with female friends, have fewer career ambitions.
It's true, it is happening in Japan now.
I think it must be a part of new culture and we don't need to hesitate to accept it , although I don't want to be.

The only thing I'm worried about, however, is a lack of competition in the future.

I think some reasons are obvious.
One of interesting reasons is a advancement in the social status of women.
As time goes by, male chauvinism seems to be disappearing.

If young Japanese men are called "herbivore", young Japanese women who bring home the bacon might be called "carnivorous girls or women" hahahaha

The time may come when carnivorous girls or women will feed on herbivore boys or men.

Big Mac S size

Before I caught a movie, I ate Big Mac Combo for the first time in several months.

It was amazing. It was every inch a small size, but in the huge box for Big Mac.
Moreover, they served me not only such as a funny hamburger but also lukewarm Coke and the burnt French fries.
Unfortunately, I rarely eat such as junk food, so I didn't care and enjoyed them. I just had no choice, cuz it was around 11:00 and there was no restaurants around me.

However, the movie I caught after that was so funny and might be the best comedy movie that I have ever watched. You must!!!!

By the way, I finally changed my flight schedule to September 1st.
I wanted to go back to Japan earlier, but there was no seat any more.
